Im back at it

Ive not been in the mood to do this lately,hope you understand.Life takes funny turns sometimes and it seems that I'm going in circles.Not going to go in to details but lets just say you cant rely on anyone or anything.I just keep coming up short on many different  levels,finding work,paying bills,money to do projects and many more that I will not bother you with,we are all having a hard time I'm sure.I don't want to get you all down.I will say that for me its been more then just money and bills,seams that whatever I touch gos to shit(the opposite of king Midas).Take my panhead for example,spent all summer getting it back on the road and the fuckin thing blows a head gasket 5mi in to its shake down run"bummer",no big deal right?We tare it down do it again and the damn thing starts to show signs of compression lose and blowing burnt smoke from the crank case breather,puking oil,sucking air though the intake manifold and just seams to be running like shit to top it off.This is a real fuckin bummer!!My plan was to get it off the stand so I can start focusing on the track bike(yam 500).Ive got a lot of work to do on that bike if we are going to run it next year(Gene Romeros WCFTS).What can you do?The good news you ask?I'm back on the frame jig,got he triumph frame on there and ready to start building my first frame on it(stay tuned for more failure).So lets see how this gos.A good friend of mine once told me"You never finish shit,whats with that"?He went on to say"If you never finish you can never fail,is that it"?Fuck you man!!!(this really hit home,I guess the truth hurts)Ya I may not finish many things that I start out doing but I try to get to a point where I'm happy with what Ive done,milestones,baby steps and so on.We all cant be"that guy"you know,nice house,killer lawn,all bills payed on time,painted hot rod,bike that runs perfect.We do what we can and hope for the best.So I'm going to try and stay positive on this build and maybe I will finish this one.Oh ya in closing I would like to add that I'm pin striping and lettering again and if you need some work done(not finished)hit me up! No not Dio dipshit!!

There is only one singer of Black Sabbath and thats OZZY!!!Although "mob rules"was a good album its not Sabbath and Dio couldnt satisfy my need for more",Blizzard of Oz" good but still not what I wanted besides this is the Sharon years and her love for the man that is OZZY just fucked it up for the rest of us(selfish me)I would of rather seen the man "OD" and leave a legend then get sober and make fuckin reality TV with that fucked up family(selfish me again).I used to eat a lot of acid back in the day and 99.9% of the time Black Sabbath was the sound track to my trip,this band spoke to me(may have been the acid)and I dug what they had to say.I still listen to them often but I don't eat acid any more so now whenever Sabbath comes up on my Ipod or the radio its time to burn a fat one,much better on my psyche then LSD.To me this is heavy metal and one of the first bands to do it,ya thats right the first,you might ask"what about zeppelin?"FUCK led zeppelin,they suck and are no way fuckin metal!!!!!They are more like the first glam band LOL.Im not some huge metal fan, I think most of it is shit and I wish they would stop screamin at me but I do dig Sabbath and that demonic sound they pump out,great stuff.(side note:I wasnt sure if Sabbath were in the rocknroll hall of fame so I checked there website and they are,But this is funny the beastie boys are nominated to be inducted next year, the fuckin beasties. WOW!!

Two fuckin days to recover,I must be gettin old.I didnt feel normal till about 7-8 last night.What a good time, never got passed stage #4(see earlier post) probably a disappointment to some of you but had a fuckin rad night none the less,the cops did show up but not for me!!Stormie joined us for dinner at Todai and we ate good,have to admit the place wasnt that great this time,not that much(for me) of a choice on the sushi,think I ate a whole tuna fish worth Nigiri,probably have mercury poison or some shit like that now.We went on to hook up with the rest of the crew at some fuckin stinky house party AM was playing,caught the last of there set then the cops came(see told ya it wasnt for me)"Great work team,back to our house for debriefing and cocktails".Nate and I made real short work of the Jameson Kerry got me,the Ebenezer's Hannah brought what can I say this is my favorite beer( bitchen its out in time for my B-day)got one left,Im havin a hard time lookin at it right now.Nate found the rest of my red label scotch and poured me the fuckin biggest scotch rocks ever then made me another,dont know if he had one or not but the bottles gone.The rest of the night went about how Id figured it would,lots of laughs,drinks and pictures.Cant get enough of Nikki's tongue photos on my camera,really every fuckin picture?Really man?Maybe if it was somewhere worth seein I wouldnt mind so much,I have some editing to do but I will post pix.I ended up wandering the house at 6am butt naked wondering where Levi was,unfortunately for Levi I found him.Sorry man!!I woke up at like 4 and I was still drunk,man what a night.Thank you all for hanging with me.

Nikki and I decided we would get up early and hit the Canby swap meet Sunday,armed with just enough money to get in and maybe the"fuck I need that"moment(it would have to be needed and cheap).A couple finds but nothing to bust the stash out,that is til we spotted a windshield for Levis 55 1st series for $40,and its in nice condition me not knowing if he needs one we make the call,no answer,sorry brother(should of just bought it for you).We keep walking round and ran into my buddy sellin all his moms antiques and some model A shit hes not using,this is where the hate comes to play,now I like my buddy but I think Ebays got him thinking"shit Ill just put a big price on my shit and make them buy it",I come to these swap meets to find a deal,but lately they just flat out suck I blame ebay its to easy to just grab a cup o coffee and go set your fat ass down at the cornputer and double clip your project together,"fuck that"get your ass up early and hit the meets,get out there and talk with the old timers before they die with all that know how in there heads and there parts end up on ebay anyway.Im just as guilty as you but Im getting better(it helps when you have no money).It would be grand if someone would start up more meets and a fuckin bike swap or two,I know you want to.I really took it easy on ebay you dont want to read about my psycho rants,or do you?

"Las Vegas.....who farted?"

Whenever las vegas is brought up or talked about I get all excited and cant wait to go,then I get their and cant wait to leave, this last time more then ever.Aaah sin city,It smells like shit wrapped in bacon,now we were there on a Saturday night thru Sunday so the douche bag level was high,its funny to watch these guys work,I dont gamble so my entertainment is said douche bags and a drink.I like jersey shore so this is right up my alley(more fist pumps please).I really like the UFC look and these boys had it,all done up with jeans fuckin flip flops and dont forget the button down collar or the bedazzled tapout shirt.All on the prowl for"snookie"or"jaywows",good luck guys we had our own plans!!!(sorry I got off topic)So I pull into good ol stink town at about 5am and try to find the wife and her counter part.After several failed calls to the room I finally get a hold of them and this tub of shit they are dragging around with them,something about him rescuing them from some "camera bandit","So,cool dude but you gots ta go",I get a drink in me at about 6am now its on(first time to cut loose on tour).I stayed up way to long and finally woke up at 3pm with super fuckin loud techno outside our room,"what the fuck...."I go out to the balcony and scream at the top of my lungs"SHUT THE FUCK UP LAS VEGAS!!!!!!!!"no one heard and now my head hurts,fuck.The gals get up and there hungry,me always so lets eat.We walk up the strip a ways but to hot and hungover.Back at the hotel we were staying they had a new place called Hash...I love hash in all forms so off we went,no hash just really big plates of great food,check the pictures out.A little over the top but good.Nikki got some stuffed burger the size of her head,Kerry ordered the fuckin grilled cheese from hell(it had bacon on it and she dont eat meat bummer)me you ask? Well Ill have the chicken and waffle,also got the shrimp app.(over cooked the shrimp).It was all good food we just had a lil to much drink the night before and no one ate that much.My $9 Bloody Mary was good.We head back to the room and get ready for the"double down"(its not what you think...really)its a cool punk club over by the hard rock,smells like shit and vomit great fuckin place. AM tore it,like I know they would.The night just got funner as it went on. Nikki and I missed out on most of the debauchery because well we hadn't seen each other in a... well you get the picture(yes there are pictures).
We all had a great time but like I said I cant wait to leave stink city behind,it took about 5 or 6 hundred mi.to get that smell off us cept for Joel think it took him 4500mi!!! I have so much more on Vegas and I will post more story's as they come to me,so stay tuned and if you got something to add leave a comment.

because I ride a panhead

It all started about 9-10yrs ago when I was looking on the net to find something that spoke to me,didnt want to put my pan together in just any old fashion and most of the "riders"here in PDX and most everywhere in the USA where fine with riding what the factory sold them.I think I typed "chopper" into the search bar,the 2 sites that popped up where Greasy kulture(a web-zine) and chopperdaves,WOW!!anyway Daves panhead made me get up from my seat and find Nikki,"you got to see this pan I just found on the cornputer"blew my mind,plus there where many other bikes that just needed to be recognized,the more I looked into this phenomenon the more it grabbed me and told me you need to "get some".these guys are building this shit in there garage and riding the fuck out of them.All like minded and in your fuckin face if you like it or not,skateboarding and punk rock has spawned a whole new "biker",my kind of rider like the ones we all saw from the back seat of dads station wagon on the way to the beach or some shit like that,ya know riding fast and tight in a pack w/club colors and chicks with there tits out"FUCK YA".that kind of shit sticks in a young kids mind and plants a seed that grows into what we are doing today(some more then others).Back to Dave and his glorious website,Ive never met the man but look forward to the day I can say thank you to you and and your buddies,I think there are a lot of  folks out there that feel the same way I do.That website changed the way I felt about the motorcycle world as I know it at the time(most of it still sucks here)."A ray of light",Ive noticed a slight shift here in PDX.while I was tucked away in my shop workin on top secret shit the wave hit the shore and look what we have here a lil group of  like minded bike builder and riders,fuck ya!!!If you know me you know how much this shit means to me and cant wait to extend my hand out to all of you who feel as I do,you know who you are!!!So Dave if you read this or find your way to PDX  know that you are welcome here and the drinks and tacos are on me.If you never been there check out his website and form your own opinion.http://www.chopperdaves.com/

Well here I go,Ive followed a few other bloggers and thought Id try it out for myself,I'm not doing anything that hasn't been done just going to put my spin on it.I will try not to post the same old stuff everyone's seen(unless its funnier then shit and has to be seen again and again).please leave comments good or bad,I can handle it.Going to start this off with some stuff from my recent "road trip"with a band everybody needs to check out,ABSENT MINDS(i will post a link to them shortly).These motherfuckers are the hardest working band in PDX.we just got back from a 5 state 21?venue tour that fucking kicked ass,Ya I said it!!The only thing missing from this tour was a fucking record label to pay for it all(you hearing me EPITAPH),as much fun as I had in a van with four other dudes a hotel and better food would of been nice.It was cool, I have to admit that deep down I wish I was in the band(at least someone in the band would get laid)and could shred like these guy but my fate lies elsewhere.Most reading this know the band and will agree with me,lets tell others not only about "for the love of hate"but for DJ Joel Issac and Ritchie,mark my words they will be big!!!
